Vondsten melden

 English version

If you have made an archaeological discovery, you are legally obligated to register this in accordance with the Monuments Law. Registering a find can provide a lot of information about an area’s archaeological features and prospects. It helps fill in the gaps in the story of our past.

Findings can be reported to the find registrars of PAN (Portable Antiquities of the Netherlands, https://portable-antiquities.nl/). You are not required to hand over the finding to the Municipality of Maastricht after your report. More information about these rules and regulations can be found on the PAN website.
